The consortium formed by Strategic Planning Services, Inc. (SPS), Guangdong Architectural Design & Research Institute (GDAD), ADPI and Beijing Jinhangcheng Planning & Design Co., Ltd. Is proud to announce our section as winner of the CAN Phase III Expansion Project “Scheme Design and Planning” Competition (the project).  We are honored by this opportunity to further contribute to the remarkable development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

This SPS project includes the planning and design of the airside apron-taxiway system of the East 4th and West 4th concourses of the Terminal 3 complex, including the West satellite hall, landside facilities of terminal area, airport-wide APM system, and landscape of landside (including working area, cargo area, etc.)

 

The design strategies proposed by the consortium and reflected in our winning plans include:

• Efficient and simple design process

• Intelligent travel characteristics

• Intensive integration of functions for passengers

• flexible development

• Green and sustainable energy-saving design

• Controllable cost & commercial value

• Regional characteristics

 

Collectively, these features will promote CAN as the core hub airport of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as it strives to become one of the most efficient airports in the world.
